These days hemp is considered one the of most popular fibers in the sustainable textile world and we are proudly a pioneer in natural hemp fabric and sustainable textile which we believe will be the wave of the future! There are some ecological advantages of hemp in the textile industry : •Hemp reduces carbon emissions • Hemp restores soil fertility • Hemp needs low pesticide With demand coming from our long-time partners/customers we did more than just jump on the bandwagon. As of 2021, we have started our own hemp farming in the Izmir region, Western Turkey. In addition to our cotton projects, the hemp we offer will also be 100% traceable. hemp’s versatility as apparel is reason enough to be our clothes’ top fabric.

Linen

Our linen comes from a land famous for its waffles, fries, and European Parliament building. Belgium, whose fibers we’re glad to use has also high standards for raw materials. Breathability, Absorbency, and Durability are advantages of linen that come from its most notable attributes.

Manmade Fibers

Tencel™ branded fibers used

Tencel™ Modal & Tencel™ Lyocell It is believed that cellulosic man-made fibers are the future of apparel. We believe that they will take a significant part in the world’s textile sector, that’s why we’ve partnered up with Lenzing™ , the pioneer of the industry. Each Lenzing™ fiber is made of cellulose, a natural component of our renewable source material wood. A characteristic of cellulose is its biodegradability: At the end of their life cycle, our fibers can re-enter the eco-system, preparing the ground on which new plants grow. Manifutura as your sustainable textile partner, with the goal of reducing carbon emissions and using renewable energy during production, tries to lower its carbon footprint to respect the mother earth by partnering with Lenzing™.

Recycled Materials

Recycled Polyester

Polyester and polyester-like fibers considering their affordability and durability, cover almost half of the textile industry’s fiber needs. We’re all aware of its negative effects on our mother earth, but a world without it is unfortunately not very possible. The best option available is to make sure the raw material comes from another product. We’re proud to say that today 100% of the polyester used by Egedeniz Group and Manifutura come from recycled materials. Without it is unfortunately not very possible. Recycled Cotton

As sustainability continues to be at the forefront of Manifutura’s decisions, In addition to organic cotton, we recycle and reuse both pre-and post-consumer cotton. By giving a second chance to old apparel and the production waste we are closing the loop on our products and the amount of energy, water, and dye use is reduced from using a product that has already been processed. The savings are achieved by offsetting the production of new materials. For this reason, any fabrics made with recycled blended fibers have a significantly lower carbon footprint.
